The Angry Philosopher

Sorry for taking so much time before appearing here, college classes were kicking my ass...

In any case, here it is (drum roll)... the moment you've all been waiting for, ladies and gentlemen (crescendo)... the ANGRY PHILOSOPHER!!!! (rousing trumpet fanfare)

...*ahem*...

Yeah, so I'm the Angry Philosopher. I'm a philosophy enthusiast and prospective mathematics major in college, and I think I know everything. My philosophical views are 'pragmatic', i.e. focused very much on decisions (the whole POINT of philosophy is to produce a system to aid decision-making) in the world, and are also based on the logical structure of mathematics, i.e. axioms and logic as rigorous as possible. I am massively opposed to any form of irrationalist dogma, in particular that of religion. In order to see my full views on most everything, you can look at my own personal blog which is very creatively titled "The Angry Philosopher"

My own arguments with the Thoughtful Phoenix mostly have to do with the question (by question, I mean already-decided proposition) of Free Will (it exists), which will undoubtedly dominate this thread. Currently, to my knowledge, the contributors to this blog are an atheist (me) and an agnostic, and our other planned author is also an atheist, so I somehow doubt religious debates will occur until we add a new, religious author.

In conclusion (since, contrary to my expectation, I am the first to post on this site) I welcome the Thoughtful Phoenix and [insert other contributor's name here - I wouldn't know what name he would make up for himself], plus any other future members (hopefully we'll get a religious member - then I can get my carefully-prepared anti-religious fireworks show warmed up...) to the blog.

Oh, and a message to Thoughtful Phoenix: could you please read as much or as little as you want of my blog and post a rebuttal or comment of/on something? I'll reprint the post(s) in question and then we can discuss it/them. I do have a feeling it's going to be the Free Will post and the Causality post, but feel free to argue against anything... in any case, I would start the debate right now by reprinting some of my old posts from The Angry Philosopher, but I don't know which of them you'd like to debate/discuss and I'm too lazy to hit ctrl-c, ctrl-v right now.
